Your poem captures a profound and sombre reflection on the theme of love's scarcity and resilience, resonating with Lauren Eden's quote about finding love amidst hardship; weaving a tapestry of pain, perseverance, and yearning. Its vivid imagery and exploration of love's duality—as both a struggle and an aspiration—capture the essence of resilience beautifully. Congratulations on your 2nd place win, Frederic.

Dear frederick, The quote youv used here is so soul hitting and so true! When one doesnt know what exactly love should be like they end up accepting “ love” from places that are toxic etc and not good for ones mental and emotional wellbeing! Its been a while since iv last read you so thought of visiting! Never a bad poem from you! Pleasure reading! Sending you light always

Hello Frederic, Wow, there’s a fierce honesty in your words, a refusal to settle for anything less than what love should be. I feel the weight of longing, the fire of defiance. Powerful, haunting, and beautifully wrought. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel
