Shadow of a Doubt

Shadows follow but they do not borrow
appear in step ,equal size is kept
Without a name and absent from fame
Not able to speak just unable to streak.
upon ones guard, unable to discard
perhaps may fade, trying to masquerade
where shadows loom, one may assume
but its not me per say, I led them astray

Only the shadow knows. I think that was a show in the 50's. Great poem. Have a good day.
