Shadow
Dark and bleak and never ending
Giving chase and always tending
Closely watched and in true time
Chaos peace and subtle rhyme
Rhythm constant and always mated
Overwhelming tight not vindicated
Unable to dodge and unable to hide
Forever there right by my side
Always here and sometimes showing
Constantly changing and never knowing
My companion it now has come to be
My chasing shadow right here with me
