Shades of Love

Hand in hand, we walk on lush green carpet
towards the grey shadows of emerald trees 
where we can avoid, golden eyes of sun that are on us.

A pair of brown sparrows with yellow beaks is singing
it seems they are in love too as they ignored us completely
and took their flight with their wings entwined.

Far away from crowded city life, I breathe freedom,
I love this moment while I am walking with you and
I enjoy peace and the different shades of love you bring.

Though the white clouds are chasing the blue sky,
I wish the silver rain drops could fall, to make us wet
and I would hold you closer beneath my purple umbrella.
