Sewn To The Pages Of My Life

Still unwritten not quite, filled in every word has pinned itself to story like a sewing machine stitch down a runway path to somewhere; Turning points and zig zag threading let the seams tell of the glory Pages of my life sealed inside a book like bookends at a fairground holding steady until the rider mounts; Still unwritten not yet ready to wear, this garmented padded book of tales isn't finished yet, ... Until a dried rose gets pressed against the pages of my life, my eulogy stands told in my book, of life.

Rose, I am glad the sewing isn't over yet. What do we have, but the means to be kind to each other? We all have ways to stitch things together and sometimes there is a marvelous garment to show for it. I read the comments and marvel at how you worked in a factory setting. That turns out to be a lesson, which more people might benefit from.

I love to weave my childhood memories into my poetry, 15 and working in a factory learning how to sew, scared and afraid I would mess it up, lol, I had lied and said I had experience, the manager knew it was a lie but hired me anyways, I was her best worker in due time lol thank God it was just a summer job, :)

Hoping you have many more pages of your life to write Vie. Its frightening though as you get older you wonder how many chapters you have left. Never put off doing things either, you don't want pages of regret in your book. Tom
