SERENE BLISS
Basking midst serene bliss in haven of rest
My soul finds peace wafted by heavenly breeze
Invited to commune with God, I feel blest
Feasting on divine grace along humbled knees.
Triumphantly arising from prayer plight
Comforted against woes brought by failure’s blight
My rejuvenated faith* now strongly stands
Grateful to reach-out, offering loving hands.
*For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
