Written: June 23, 2023 ______________________________________________________________ In a world where colors dance and gleam, Dreams are painted with vibrant themes. I find solace in hues that inspire. In a kaleidoscope of desire. Aquamarine caresses the sea. Where waves of cerulean set hearts free. Chartreuse meadows shimmer in the sun. A symphony of colors, never undone. Saffron sunsets paint the sky with fire. A golden blaze of passion and desire. Tangerine hues bestow warmth to the day. Chasing the shadows of the worry away The sky, once filled with promises and dreams, Now masked with gray clouds and icy rain, It laughs at your faith, your belief in change, Leaving you questioning what was gained. But dare not seek solace in the past, The womb's warmth will not last. It may seem tempting, I know. But in it, you'll never truly grow. So why strive for the comfort of the womb? When can we forge a destiny, even in this gloom? Let the flames of our passion ignite. And guide us through the darkest night. We can dismantle the walls of division and hate. And build bridges of unity before it's too late. What else do you expect from a world of greed? Where power and money govern our creed In the serenade of ashes, we find our strength. Together, we'll stand tall, we'll endure any length. We'll rise from the ashes, as a phoenix reborn. And create a world where peace is adorned.

Breathtakingly beautiful Sotto. It's funny I was thinking recently of the fragments of colors in a kaleidoscope and you so eloquently used it in this write. I very much enjoyed this well needed poem of yours.
