sometimes - When I awake from a dream - I experience this same sequence - I vividally recall the images - but as I recall them - they don't fit together anymore and I realize it was a dream then it slips further away until the only thing I recall is - a thought that I had a dream. Hope this makes sense to you. I love how your poetry evokes pondering until one defines their own conclusion. FANTASTIC!!! lainie

I did not interpret this as Kristin on first read. Now it is the only interpretation I get, as my first impression slipped away. : ) I am thinking perhaps simply an unexplained thought/image in the mind that goes no further and makes you wonder why.
