The sensitive strokes of Georgia O'Keeffe's brush have aroused in sweet pea petals, a tender pink blush In these ruffled labian folds, painted as a fragile flower buds beget blooms in their feminine garden bower

Lin, I think your choice of words adds to the discussion of her subject matter and what she depicted. She certainly had an impact over her near century of life. I applaud what you're doing. Smiles!!

Lin, I enjoyed reading your poem, and researching the artist, who said something to the effect that a picture conveys more than words can tell. True. I also liked the ending and word choice-bower- and reading between the lines. FAV.

I must admit I was scratching my head a bit so googled her, now it all makes sense, she is an amazing artist and if the human body inspired her why not, that in itself is a work of art. You captured her style well in your verse Lin. Tom

Now me being a red blooded male, I only see a typo Lin, I don’t know what Ink and possibly Dilly are on about, but I have no doubt in my mind you meant to type Labyrinth, yeah that’s it! Still it’s a pretty piece of work lol! Cheers David

ummm David. I'm going to ignore your 'depth' comment with a smile and just say thanks for being the only male (so far) for having the courage to comment at all.

Perhaps I’ve found myself in a labyrinth of femininity and am way out of my depth, so like a true red blooded male I’m outta here before the walls close in lol!

You're not getting off with that lame explanation, David. LOL If I can use labian, and you admit to being a red blooded male.... that's definitely not a typo. Thanks for finding it 'pretty.'

Hi, Ink. Yes, you did read it correctly. LOL Dilly and I were discussing Georgia O'Keeffe's beautiful art and the fact that perhaps... some poets here might not appreciate a certain insight to her artistic talent. I'm truly grateful that you found it "elegantly" written and appreciate her art. Thanks, Ink.
