Senior Moment?

How is it that I

Can forget the objective

Before I get there?

Writer's Note:

No, I'm not a senior (not even close) so I don't have any excuse for this dilemma!

Well I don;t know if I qualify as a senior or not, (61) but I do have lots of those moments when I get up to do something and completely forget why I got up. So I return to my couch potato position in hopes that whatever it was may or may not return. God Bless and thanks for your much appreciated comments. Ron

I chose to read this one because boy do I get the senior thing way too often but I cracked up when I read it. You're so nuts! From one that is much more senior than you don't ever stop laughing~

I don't think you have to be old to have those senior moments, it just makes it easier to get away with it. ( Does being 61 mean you are a senior, I can't remember!) God Bless. Ron

oh it's quite easy actually. I'm only 26 and I do this at least 4 times a week. You start with a real idea of what the objective is and then your mind drifts to the farthest reaches of memory lane. By the time you come out of it you'd be lucky even to remember where you are right now, never mind where you're going.

Written on a topic that affects many young and old. Sometimes in young people the reason is simply stress or maybe I should say distress. Too much to do in too short period of time. Thanks for your reading my work and commenting on it. Keep writing. Sara

Oh yeah, Donna!... I can identify, and I AM a senior (or closing in rapidly) It doesn't happen to me all that much though (maybe only 10-20 times a day!) - Tim
