Self-Existent Light

Listen to poem:
In the deepest darkest sea, where sunlight is non-existent, the deep-sea angler fish lures its prey with a bio-luminescent bait made by its symbiotic bacterial mate. Deprived of light from above it emulates the mighty giant sun, teaching it a thing or two about self-existence and self-sufficiency. A tiny micro-star shines so bright in the cold deep, dark, dank depths with insistent, incessant, self-existent and confounding, bio-luminescence.
