Notes About The Poem
1 Corinthians 12 KJV[the whole chapter] Vs.27."Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular." Proverbs 6:6-8 KJV "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: [7] Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, [8] Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest." Matthew 11:28-30 KJV "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Seijaku

  The ant colony
In constant motion.
Each moving part has a duty,
has a job to do.
           Sacrificing on the altar
 of family, of society,
of community, and civilization.
         Diligently striving
For a better life, a better world.
Not being an intricate part of this
            beautiful industry,
this dance of building and creating,
       Would offer little reward.
                       Peace
comes at the end of a long day,
         Knowing you have done
your duty to the
        utmost of your ability,
And trusting those
around you to do
                     The same.

        The human body
Each member an intricate piece
           of the whole.
The head being Christ,
is the Holy Spirit the heart?
We all play an important part!
             The work we do
Although at times stressful,
           brings about good in this
Dark world.
So that, the effort is full
         Of reward!
There is good stress and bad stress.
         The difference is what motivates
Us to do good,
            Or to do nothing,
Feeling too overwhelmed
Because we've forgotten
             Our yoke mate is
Infallible and unbreakable!

I like your ant analogy Crystol. Those guys are really industrious, and really take care of business. I inadvertently caused a crisis in their world today when I watered my garden, flooding out their space, but they quickly regrouped and got busy. Those guys are gonna be OK! It's nice to feel you have an essential role in a team.
