Seeking the Meaning of Life

The decades have slipped by
Sometimes I think I understand
But really most times I know
I haven’t figured out anything
And I haven’t got a clue
In any case with the setting sun
The meaning of life is at best enigmatic
All I really know is that time is elusive
And each precious minute volatile
