Seeing Things

January & February this year, prescription lenses lost. I count the cost (it cost me dear). A place for everything and everything in its place, my grandmother said, but I only know where my glasses are when they're on my face.

Thanks Nola for your kind comment on my last poem. Actually it was written with a neighbor in mind...I feel for her...she gets so lonely! Thanks for caring! :)

Clever reflection on one of the joys of the aging body..My problem is thatI cant see to find them if I do misplace them. I got a laugh out of this one. BG

HI, Nola. Join the crowd. I not only forget things, but I drool, talk to myself and talk to the animals, birds, squirrels, two opossums mice, and lots of stray kitties. How do I know when the opossums have visited during the night?....The water bowl on the front porch is always upset. I think they try to bathe in the kittie's drinking water. Love, daver

LOL! Been there and done that too. I wear glasses just for reading. I can't remember how many times I've wonderd through my house looking for them when they were on top of my head the hole time. Take care hun Truly enjoyed! Many blessings to you and yours Love Light Truth Patricia

At least you know where your glasses are when they're on your face, Nola. During senior moments, I sometimes spend a good bit of time looking for my keys when they are in my pocket. Everyone can relate to this! Excellent work! It's going into my favorites.

This is so familiar an experience to me I could not but laugh. A wonderful sense of humor, and it made the obvious seem so fresh. Peace and love, dear Nola
