Seeing Jesus

John 20:29 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” Even though I can’t see Him, I know He is alive and well – living With the Father, interceding for all my prayers Even though I can’t see Him, I know He is making a way for my soul To someday be there beside Him, Because – on the cross, He invited me To the wonder of a love so exciting, A love that is signed in His blood, His life Inspiring my heart to believe – He is the reason For my every hope, my every prayer – His every promise is sure - He is making a way! Even though I can’t see Him, I know He understands all my fears He listens to my heart’s tears And erases every doubt that I feel Embracing me with kindness and truth, Assurance that, with Him, I KNOW He is the reason my heart can still grow He is the wonder in the wonderful He is the joy in the joyful He is the kind in the kindness He is the reason my soul knows real hope Thanks to Him, my Savior and friend I can be sure that His love Will restore all my dreams, filling me with light That only He can give – light that reflects The love that He is – the love that He gives The love that is alive, bringing hearts to life The love that is my guide, always inside Where I know that He shines through the darkest Night, into the moments that I see… Even though I can’t see Him with my eyes I see Him with my hope, my faith and my love I see Him with the beautiful that He inspires I see Him with my heart and soul and I always know When I can’t see Him – He is even surer He is the guarantee of a love that only faith can perceive He is the miracle of a love that only He can bring!
