Securing a Legacy

Seventy-eight good years when she went home many cried tears of joy having left her mark in history as a leader married to a leader who believed in justice for all after Dr. King passed on Coretta did what she could to cushion our fall by being a woman who worked to make a nation whole it was done with her heart mind soul the klan deterred her not this proven as time went by through her dedication determination devotion her head held high Mrs. King secured a legacy building her own with her four children by her side GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER welcomed her with arms opened wide it was said "It's good to finally see her at peace" believing this peace comes from above on her tomb it ends with six words "the greatest of these is love"
