Seasons bleed: when we burned and died to meet

He was the night sky, and I was a star; But before we met, daylight arrived. He was a firefly, and I was a flower; But when we met, winter whispered chills. He was a snowflake, and I was the ground; But before he could reach me, summer shined. He was a bug, and I was a leaf; Yet before we could embrace, Autumn secluded us. He was the flame, and I was the ice; When we met, I took my final breath.
