Seasonal Shades

Shadows drink a wall lamp. Winter switches the porch light on. The cat claims its space beneath curled head and tail. Earlier, a kind of daylight scratched ice into vision, I rummaged into dark corners - I forget what for. Another winter dawn could ransack or houseclean, it all depends on how dark corners can get.
