Searching For You
I’m searching for this place, I know it’s not far. I have been there before, but when I’m
not sure,
I close my eyes, try to remember my steps, my mind is clouded by the pollution its kept.
So, I begin the journey unsure of what’s to come. I pray to be the victor when my conquest
is done.
For If I find this place it is heaven for me. Though if I stray from the path hell is all
Ill see.
Beaten and battered I forge ahead, though my heart has grown weary and my body feels dead.
I’ll find this place I’ll crawl if I must, for there is a beauty awaiting and a love I trust.
Though neither path is easy, I choose the worst of the two. Hoping at the end what I’ll
find is you.
