Search For Tomorrow
In dim lit realms of yesterday
Timeless whispers voice thoughts of you
Sometimes they go, sometimes they stay
In memories mind, I hear nothing new
I've looked hard to find scattered smiles
They were on our face, lover's lost
Too long our road, too many miles
A passion's dance, not concerned with cost
Days and nights, drifting in between
To lose our love we could only borrow
A sadness in our parting, years unseen
We walked away, to search for tomorrow
