It has been a long twisted road to here,
and the broken pieces of my life are scattered;
my search for tomorrow is still blurry,
it is hard to go on when your soul is tattered.
life has left me fragmented and weeping,
yet within there is an unfathomable strength;
so, I just keep trying my very best,
to find tomorrow I will go to any length.
Like a warrior I will fight battles,
my mighty sword will be but a poetic pen;
I will write of all my grief and sorrows,
letting them go like birds again, again, again.
I will never stop my ever searching,
searching for my tomorrow and my own true fate;
and along this life path I will find me,
never stopping until I reach that final gate.
