Image result for strength

It has been a long twisted road to here, and the broken pieces of my life are scattered; my search for tomorrow is still blurry, it is hard to go on when your soul is tattered. life has left me fragmented and weeping, yet within there is an unfathomable strength; so, I just keep trying my very best, to find tomorrow I will go to any length. Like a warrior I will fight battles, my mighty sword will be but a poetic pen; I will write of all my grief and sorrows, letting them go like birds again, again, again. I will never stop my ever searching, searching for my tomorrow and my own true fate; and along this life path I will find me, never stopping until I reach that final gate. ________________________ October 24, 2018 Poetry/Quatrain/Search For Tomorrow Copyright Protected, ID 18-1077-752-01 All Rights Reserved. I've found life itself to be a battle but, it's just fascinating enough to keep me going; I now that if I get through the daily skirmish; I'll find something to enjoy or celebrate. I've learned to look for the good in each day. Best of luck in the contest; the honesty and sincerity of this piece, should garner you a win.

I have to admire the way you endured harsh challenges early in life, but remained strong enough to explore other paths. And probably all who post here can relate to the releasing of built-up emotions when we write about them. An awesome entry for the contest, my friend, and I wish you success. Hugs, Carolyn PS AOL has been down for hours so I can't check my email, so I'll send you a Soup mail.
