Sciatica

And just like that, it started
            This pain that’s nowhere bound
Save for the destination
                     My hip and right on down


Sciatica, Sciatica
             I could just die-atica 
This will not fly-atica 
             I say good bye-atica
 

I stretched till I was putty
                Just what will calm this nerve
Guess years of heavy lifting
                         Got me what I deserve!

Maybe the sciatica is from 'heavy lifting' with form too 'erratica,' Mike. (Two of my three sons are lifters. Oy, my aching back just thinking about what they do their joints...)

Unfortunately, I do have it but it is milder than others I know! I’m hoping it’s getting a bit better!! Thank you Silent One!!

Hey Mike…..l have suffered with the same thing this year….it feels like it takes forever to get relief but you will… I did the stretches and didn’t overdo it and it eventually lessened and went. I really feel for you Mike as its horrible and wears you down…I hope you get relief soon and are back to doing your triple somersaults soon haha!! I enjoyed the poem! Debx
