School Has Changed This Father
I used to be hard on my daughter he told me.
My girlfriend has pointed out I am soft now.
He has worked in an elementary school for ten weeks.
Things that used to seem big, seem miniscule now.
I know exactly what he is talking about.
Things that bother many people are not seen at all by us,
The ones who are in the trenches with three hundred children a week.
