Scarlett Revisited
One night when stars possessed the universe,
plantation winds screamed violently;
Cupid's wings thrashed against a pane.
When the arrow pierced her chest,
her winter's heart too late
was made to know pure
love. . . Fever came,
and still she
cannot
rest.
