Scar-City Vapour

If infinity’s a place that’s blistered by walkin’ And love is a tongue that’s twisted from talkin’ An’ eyes only swell to endless familiar Should a 'moral' be a man’s only measure? And if the heart becomes a burnt out region An’ all prisons fill with what you can’t believe in An’ skies grow dark under ‘power’ failure Could you save yourself to kill another saviour? And if my hands become so scarred by shakin’ Would you breach the cage within your own breakin’? Ignore a ‘straight life’ in scar(city) reason To create a world only you can believe in? Would you answer questions that were never asked? Even those that drilled upon a heart left to a cast? And stand across the very edge of meaning To look me in the eye and whisper “I am bleeding” An' until your heart becomes a burnt out region An’ all prisons fill with what you can’t believe in An’ skies grow dark under scar(city) vapour Could you become, your only saviour?
