You surely could So nice if you would You really should -- Say something good For a change of pace In this crazy rat-race A moment of grace -- Say something good A compliment is Heaven-sent -- Say something good Give credit where due reflect nicely on you -- Say something good Offer your praise Create sunny rays -- Say something good Life's tough enough So can the rough stuff -- Say something good!

I love that the refrain ends each verse...some refrains, for me, can feel monotonous. A very pleasing poem.

i agree...good acts of kindness or even a compliment can go a long way and make someone's day...someone at a local convenience store paid for many coffees today...it happens often in these parts where either the person ahead of you pays for you or someone else hands them a set amount and says buy everyone's coffee until it runs out... good write Gershon :) hugs
