Say Hello To Rose
Come to visit me at my home, and I'll introduce you to 'My Rose'.
She arrests me coming in and captures me going out.
She's enameled with beauty and color and brightens my world like no other.
When I provide what is vital for her, she satisfies and never disappoints.
But I must be gentle when moving in close to her, not too casual or approach her inappropriately.
She's caring and willing to take me far, even making me a star, but I'm very aware that she has sharp defensive skills of her own.
So I can't just go marching into her space and pick her apart. I have to gracefully demonstrate to her that she matters most.
I am learning to be unrushed, having precision with plan and purpose. With both words and deeds, I must love, respect, and honor her,
putting her first and not taking her for granted. When so doing, the elegance of her presence always draws like a magnet.
I tell you, she's more than a flower and not just any old rose. She's a real beauty for all to see, but she blossoms just for me.
I consider myself more than fortunate because there is absolutely no one like Rose in all the gardens of the world.
