Indeed. With all the drinking and joy, we are aware of our loss...distance from God we have traveled. We soak in our grief -- till the black robed thief returns us.

I have been with a couple grief groups as a facilitator. As I wrote this I thought of how you give a very thirsty person a cold drink of water, holding their head.
