Sanctify

Sanctify With only our minds, we sanctify. We cry as we intertwine. My hands above my head reach for the universal sky, I envision in my eyes—I’m sanctified. The sweat from our heat is our holy water, Yet we’re on fire, and there’s no putting us out. We share this moment as if time could slip away, Holding each other close as we become one at a slow pace. I feel fresh in my skin with you, As if together, we washed all our sins away— Only to be committing one with every movement of our core. You encourage my praises with your voice, Together, our bodies make a choir of chorus, A union of sound to lift us higher in this sanctified bond. Patiently, we’re untied By the constraints of what we both wanted, Turning into the outcome of a spiritual high. You captivate my mind as I consume yours. You tell me all of your forbidden experiences through your mind alone, Through the scripture of your heart. You rip my mind apart, Having access to my holy temple. We sanctify each other’s denomination as ourselves, Tearing aside what’s hidden underneath what we represent or show. May this intimacy find the purest person with a heart of gold. I would never wish this on an unkind soul— They would abuse and steal from the temple that holds holy ground. Yet only the purest of heart can find a love like this. And with their minds, we pray—they sanctify
