Notes: How lucky we are, and how lucky am I, to be able to even write this, that one evening in Paris, outside and after a lovely evening enjoying the fine cuisine and wine, a beggar, brought my soul to bare and ponder, as here I am deciding on who and whom not deserves charity, whilst a homeless man in Paris with a broken back, he feeds all the birds. This is not a condemnation of any one, more a call to question, how we as individuals and as a society handle such issues. I will say this, all good deeds however small, are good deeds indeed. It’s never black in white in real life, so to question ones actions, all actions is also never a bad endeavor.

Exposing the hypocrisy ... well crafted and with French sentimentality. Perhaps I'm dense but I'm having difficulty clicking with the last line ... but I hate asking what things mean, lol! I will however say that I do detect tinges of sarcasm! Is "Mr. Samaritan" driving to a charity gig? If so ... even more hypocrisy!

I have no trouble answering, The dinner I was at was the Rotary club in Paris, and thus "Rotary" made me thing of round, thus wheels, thus spinning. This also is in no way a negative comment, this group of people I happened to meet indeed where doing commendable charity work, it was just one of this awkward moments, that would make anyone reflect.

Outstanding and obvious heartfelt poem my friend. A young drugged up junkie , begging for money to get his next fix is one thing but to turn down those truly in need for food or other care is another. And several times I have instead offered to buy the money for drugs seeker a meal and every time they turn it down-which is sad. Heartbreaking that the scam artists, drug seekers, and professional panhandlers jade us so to the plight of those in real need. A7

I have actually offered many times to not only buy them a sandwich, but to have lunch with me, no one has said no yet! Sometimes spending time is as appreciated as the food itself! Cheers!
