Salvation
God’s gift of salvation is for everyone,
His death on the cross was payment for our sin.
For sin He gave His only begotten son,
when we confess they’re not remembered again.
Our acceptance is the only thing required,
but all too many fail to understand.
We must confess before our life has expired,
Or we'll surely not enter at God's right hand.
Heaven’s entry can’t be bought with our good deeds,
for many, judgment’s seat, will appear daunting.
Heaven can’t be gotten by judgment day pleads,
they’re weighed the balance and found wanting.
God loves mankind, each and everyone the same,
and forgives our sin when we call on His name.
