Hello Demetrios, yes to day the Irish celebtate even when you are not Irish. My nephew was born on St. Patrick's Day. So we celebrate both birthday and St. patrick's Day. Have a nice day my friend.

I thought I recognized Gaelic from one of my favorite books, "The Outlander" as spoken by the Scottish hero, Jamie! If you have a Scottish accent, please call me and talk all the day long. As for Demetrios' question, no Irish ancestry, my roots are English, Scottish and Viking (I think everyone has a bit of the well-traveled Viking in their DNA.) My American roots go back to the first English arrivals on Mom's side and Dad's people weren't far behind. 'Nough 'bout me!

What a lovely visit! Thank you for commenting! Well, in Greece we have not a saint Patrick's parade but when I was in Canada I found an excuse to celebrate with my Irish friends! Are you of Irish origins? Thank you so much! Poetry hugs xxx PS: Our friend, Tom is mysterious today! haha. Probably has to do with his Irish origins! He is a marvelous friend!

I try to understand ! Does it mean that " The leaves of the clover are here ( in existence) ?" I go through the French language! How close I am?
