"And in my dream, I love the vastness of the ocean, the crisp wind, the azure sky above and the freedom of sailing true north."

I cast off the line of my small sailboat
leaving all my cares on the dock:
In the beginning I heave, pitch and rock,
as I set my compass for true north;
swaying back and forth !
Now, in turquoise water and azure sky- I float
and with a crisp wind at my back;
my sails unfurl with a loud crack !
A curious whale does not attack
and I sail a northern track:
Oh, it takes courage to lose the shore
with only pitching waves that roar !
I am gliding, flying- leaning to the side,
while happy dolphins swim alongside;
the earth's magnetic force pulling me,
and I have never felt so wonderfully free !
Then, suddenly the wind is calm and gentle,
transcendental-
and from this dream . . . I am still afloat;
not lost- but in a place beautifully remote.
