An old concept of mine, but a new poem done in free verse.

I roll and roll, beneath a blood-red sky. How I burn with desire for you. I am the sands of the Sahara in search of sweet relief as every particle of my body fills with white heat. Passion-parched, I turn toward you - drifting to the brink – a dune of madness. The cool blue of you that I seek appears as if a mirage. I am Sahara, and my love is vast. Let me quench myself in you.
