Sadness

Words that I cite Tell in crisp write: Sadness lumps here As tears ooze clear A touchy feel: Can such hurts heal? I look away To better days Hurts cramp my heart As bleeding starts I notice pain Rain once again Sadness now peaks As silence speaks Words fail to cite How pain now writes Leon Enriquez 21 November 2017 Singapore

Dear Phyllis: Yes, there's a lingering sadness loitering with melancholic pain that clings to inner distress. Sometimes, for no particular reason, except a certain feeling of nostalgia can cause this sad feeling to emerge. I try to capture the essence of this paradox of sad mixed with sanguine. Glad this work out OK. Thank you for your visit and comments. Love and light, Leon.
