Hi Sotto, This acrostic is beyond magnificent. I was immediately transported to then transfixed by your deft setting portrayal. It is an enduring classic I found rewarding and fascinating. “Rust on green gate,” “smell of earth in pain,” “soft thunder stirs the dust,” superb wording.🔥🔥🔥🔥 From the bottom of heart thank for your detailed analysis of my August Morning Shift. This acrostic contains vivid, haunting images that bring the scene to life. I paticularly enjoyed the line about rust on the green gate, which imparts the feeling of time passing and seasons changing. I also love the final line-it's so impacting. Best wishes for the contest.😄
