Run Away Friend Run Away
The French, the English, the Germans too
All fought in a world war named Two
Many men died every day
War still goes on for many of you
Some in your own home are very blue
I do not know why you stay
Life is rather grand without any wars
So if you decide to walk out those doors
You might remember how to play
If your relationship is blue and sad
And more work than you have ever had
Run away friend, run away
