stating swine flu comes from tins of ham,
but don’t get a fright,
for this is not right,
when the email claims ham, well it’s spam.

Hello Judy … I'm pleased you could see the wit involved in this limerick. In the English language, individual words tend to have more than one meaning - thank you Judy - Lindsay

Hello Jan … I often think about spam, which I guess is tinned ham, (perhaps) ever made its way to how it is used as an email scamming letter now - thanks Jan; pleased you enjoyed - Lindsay

Hello Gershon … Yes I must admit when I read the two words close together and knowing there's a connection and they rhyme; what else could I do - thanks Gershon - Lindsay
