Couldnt agree more Jerry. The idea of shoehorning a poem to please another poet goes against the grain for me. I only tend to enter contests that allow poems of any age and any form. I think there's too much emphasis on new poems but that's just me. I really enjoyed the read. Cheers - Gary

I don't like complicate lengthy sheets of rules, it takes away the creativity like putting someone in a straight jacket lol I rather write the way I please too

Sometimes, rules keep thoughts enclosed. Not always a good thing, when it comes to writing. I can stay inside the lines using different forms, those that hold structure. (Not often, though). Being expressive is more fun, when you think outside the box. Just sayin'. :) I like your thoughts here and this is winner in my eyes. You don't get an N/A from me.
