Rue

In the starless dark night you will find me
Hiding in azure colors of the moon
Waiting for your touch of forgiveness be
Bestowing the solace of leaving too soon

I have tried but forgotten the meaning
Of how to gaze upon your face's glow
How could time take this from my soul grieving
While my empty heart has nowhere to go

I lament my love for I have trespassed
I have wept too long and hard to endure
I suffer the loss of your hearts caress
And your love that was infinite and pure

In the starless night please come find me soon
Masked in the azure colors of the moon
