Ruby Throated Hummer

Tiny little Ruby Throated Hummingbird Outside my window sill At the feeder drinking your fill Being guarded by daddy on the hill He's hoovering over Guarding your evey move Trying to protect you From every cat that's got groove

How cute this is, Sara. I love those Ruby throated Hummingbirds. In fact, I made a beautiful LARGE painting of on several years back. And I did a high-relief sculpture of one. I still have that. It turned out quite well. So, your poem this morning, has special meaning to me. Very nicely written. Thanks for commenting on my poem + (Soupmail, soon.)

We have 3 feeders :) here in CA. We watch them all the time: so territorial, curious and cute.

I just got through replenishing my feeders, Sara, I love watching them, I have three different types, here in Arkansas. About time for them to start migrating, I think. Sincerely Moses
