Romeo and Juliet- Repost

~Romeo And Juliet~               Such deep, impassioned, love startles our mortal ways. Could we possibly have that same eternal love? Flowing in our souls and blood, and being blind, make light of it? How blessed, how young, how fortunate, they! To refuse on this fetid earth to stay. Like new wine from the vine, they still in sky tiptoe! Willing to live in eternity, oh! Not a beautiful flower, nor stunning sunset, no. Could keep them here, this so earhtly, temporal a place. Be still, and you will hear their laughter. It whispers in trees, both day and night, a fortnight and forever after. This is a repost. April 15, 2020 6:30pm PST

Oh Panagiota your words are like a beautiful melody played upon a harp. I adore this poem and especially the final stanza, which is exquisite my friend. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Lovely verse on my favorite story from the Bard. It brings me back to English class. I was just talking about this the other day. I see you're a fan as well. I hope all is well JC Hawkens

Am a great fan, indeed! I loved the movie version made in the '70s. I cried through that movie. What a work of art, that was, eh? Of course all is well! I chose it to be so,-)) Thank you...Panagiota xx
