Romantic Autumn
The wet leaves of Autumn relish the ground
Where lovers hear thunder's sensual storm
When colored leaves fall and love can be found
Tender lips embrace a soft quiet warm
In this misty season where Summers wain
And the flourishing heart revels in cold
Their lover's breath welcomes a chill of rain
Where romance blooms and its love will unfold
The leaf stoked bonfires light in silhouette
As leaves are falling and Autumn winds blow
The chilled night of Autumn where warm hearts met
Will leave a burning shadow's afterglow
In this season of naked boughs, they kiss
And find comfort in the silence and bliss
