When breezes whiff its tangy scent
As night's intention roams with force ;
To gift flamed August its ascent
On red-washed earth from cliffs to gorse,
That by romancing through the haze
Our tanned waterfront beams anew--
Their pearly coastlines all ablaze
With varnished shells of every hue...
How in moonlit dusk winging low
Arms stroke, up down in thrilled embrace ...
Where lips press firmly, breaths aglow
To taste summer's rush-- its wild chase!
