Robo-Calls 2

Robo-Calls A Sonnet “Are burning up the Phone Lines” An opinion: by Tom 12/17/2018 It’s Robo Calls that make me scream, Often at night I awake from a dream. They come to me from all over the place, Causing my machine to invade my space; On occasion it’s said they come from me, Leaving me to ponder how this can be? Each one coming from assorted places, Representing people who have no faces, Never identifying a person, just # & town, A pure annoyance causing me to frown; What is the purpose; to keep me updated? Or just to hope that I become frustrated. I’ve had five calls while composing this, And of the lower tech days I reminisce.

That no call list is a bad joke; I get at least 5 a day if not more. Such obnoxious machines. Love the sonnet; so true.
