Robert Sherriff 'Australian' - A Different Tale

Robert Sherriff 'Australian' Author-Poet-Actor-Model-Singer/songwriter Unsheepishly Me: A Different Tale When I write, I strive not to be Joe or Sue. I've got my rhythm, a beat that's a fusion of jazz and rock, my hue, a blend of sunset and ocean, and unique beauty under a different sun, a beauty that's a mix of strength and vulnerability. I was never meant to be a sheep, to follow the flock in an endless sweep. I roam where wild ideas leap, in fields where dreams and thoughts run deep. It might not make sense, might seem absurd, a cacophony of the unheard. But that's my song, my every word, a melody by the wind stirred. BAH BAH BAH, three bags full of nonsensical wool, representing the meaningless conformity and tales to pull. I weave them all, push and pull, against the norm, against the dull. I don't care if it makes no sense or stands out in stark pretence. It's my dance, fierce defence, and an intense, unapologetic offence in the bland world. Here's to resilience, standing tall with joy, and breaking free from the wall. Cheers to the unique, the uncalled, and those who dare to enthral and be not just accepted but celebrated for their uniqueness.
