River of Life
Come to me, come to me now.
I need your soft quietness, somehow.
Ah, gentlest whispers in my ear.
Promise me, there is nothing to fear.
And with you, my angel, solace I find.
My man, my lover, for all time.
On this ship of life, we never do shudder.
Our great love of God, is our rudder!
