Candy cigarettes, yes, drinking water through the hose, never wearing seatbelts in family station wagon and more. Hard to date ourselves. I’m still sitting here alive though and lucky to stay there with my mask.

Everything IS risky... Gosh, when did I start thinking that way? ... I remember distinctly getting on a plane in my early 50's, looking at the pilot and thinking, Why am I trusting my life to this man?! That's where it began, I believe...

I see many in the younger generations who are so risk-averse. 'Course they may have gotten it from their 50+ year-old parents who waited so long (too long!) to have kids -- till they were 'financially secure.' ~ gw
