Rising From Abyss
A velvet drape where starlight fails,
The yawning maw where silence trails.
An edge unseen, a whispered dread,
Where paths dissolve and hopes lie dead.
A plunge unsought, a sudden fall,
Into the depths beyond the wall.
No guiding hand, no steady light,
Just echoing voids and endless night.
The weight of years, a crushing stone,
A hollow ache, a heart alone.
The phantom touch of what has been,
A landscape lost, a fading scene.
Where shadows dance and memories blur,
And whispered questions never stir.
A silent scream, a frozen tear,
The chilling truth that nothing's near.
Yet, in the dark, a flicker glows,
A fragile spark where courage grows.
A whispered vow, a rising breath,
To find a path beyond the death.
For even in the deepest night,
A hidden strength ignites its light.
And from the abyss, a soul may rise,
To paint new stars on empty skies.
