                                                    Sorry
                                              restless itching
As a fist in the face
it scrolls replay on the canvas
Reflect on the value of memories
                                      divided emotional thoughts
                                             Complexity of life
                                                pollute the air
                                                     sorry

Hi Anne-Lise! What a wonderful entry for the contest! This form is a perfect visual match for roller coaster of emotions when forming an apology like " a fist in the face!" So visual and visceral. Best wishes for the contest! Blessings and hugs! Hope your summer has been warmer that ours here in CA!

Anne-Lise, I could be wrong, but the r's pertain to the three subjects, and when I read Nette's example, I didn't see any alliteration. So, replying to your comment to another poet, I think that your poem passes. Your poem is really good.

- Don't think about it, Connie ... it's "just" a contest... I'll leave mine as it is... "lose and win" with a smile :)

After reading Andrea's poem, I'm lost. Hers has a lot of r's and alliteration. I might not know the rules here. I might even get more confused than you do.
